About Us

Who we are

Bloom Women's Support is a London-based charity dedicated to empowering women through crisis intervention, counselling, and community programmes.

Our Story

Bloom was founded in 2010 by a group of social workers and survivors who saw too many women falling through the gaps in statutory services. Starting from a single advice drop-in in Islington, we have grown into one of London's leading women's support organisations.

Today we work with over 2,400 women a year across seven London boroughs, providing everything from one-to-one counselling to crisis refuge referrals and employment support.

We believe every woman deserves safety, dignity, and the chance to thrive — regardless of her circumstances, background, or immigration status.

Our Values

  • Compassion

We listen without judgement and respond with warmth.

  • Confidentiality

Everything shared with us stays with us, unless you agree otherwise.

  • Empowerment

We support women to find their own strength and make their own choices.

  • Inclusivity

Our services are open to all women, including trans women.
